This is a new unused Ping Control system from MSD. It allows you to retard the spark from a dash mounted control knob, when driving if pinging occurs due to lower octane fuel with high compression engines. It also allows you to advance the timing to get the most performance for a given set of conditions. This unit is for older cars that do not have computer generated ignition control.
