If a flame is not sensed within the allowed trial period, the module enters safety lockout to prevent unburned gas from accumulating. This specific module is a non-pre-purge unit, meaning it sparks immediately upon a call for heat without a delay blower cycle. It is universally applicable across a broad range of low-voltage (24 VAC) residential and light commercial gas systems, including gas-fired heating systems, commercial cooking equipment, water heating systems, and gas fireplaces.
